I had a 2:30 PM appointment that was cancelled 20 minutes prior to the appointment and I had had a 30 minute drive. So they reschuled it for 4:30 PM two days later. When I got close to the locastion, I got lost, so I called at 4:32 and said I would be a few minutes late. I found the place and I was in the office by 4:32. They told me that I arrived too late and that there wasn't enough time for the consultation, so they cancelled it. They had sent me an email staing that I should be there 10 minutes early for intake, but the email also said that if I was there within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, which was 4:30, then it wouldn't be cancelled, again I got there at 4:42, within the 15 minute timeframe, yet they cancelled anyways. I later emailed the owner/attorney and she replied back to me stating that there wasn't enough time to do the consulatation and that their offices close at 5:00. I was the one that was initially incovenienced with the reschuled appointment and the email said be there within 15 minutes of your scheduled time, so I just thought maybe they should afford me the courtesy by keeping the office open a few minutes later to accomadate me.  I suppose that was asking too much, even though I thought my request was reasonable, all things considered.
