In addition, there are forms required to be filed in family law cases that are income specific, so annual income is information necessary to ensure the correct form is completed. It has nothing to do with the fee. The fees are quoted on a case-by-case basis, after an initial interview with me familiarizing myself with the complexities of the case. I find it’s better to provide an accurate expectation of what the anticipated attorney’s fees will be rather than quote an unrealistic low fee just to be retained.  I charge a reasonable fee for the service provided.
