However, Mr. Walker did not have their home placed in trust which triggered a probate proceeding that was largely unnecessary. If this is how Mr. Walker treats his oldest and most loyal clients of 50 years, I cannot in good faith recommend his services to anyone. There are plenty of good attorneys out there to choose from. His mistake came across as brazen when asked about his failure to effectively avoid probate.\n\nSadly, many \"estate planning\" attorney's are actually \"probate planning\" attorneys as they seek to place their clients in probate in order to earn more fees than would be owed without going to probate.
