I was hit in my door by a turning vehicle at approximately 30 mph.  Totalled my Envoy. Changed my life. Staples in my head, bruises from head to toe. Airbag abrasions on my arms. My eyeglasses saved my sight from the breaking glass. After being struck, my SUV was redirected and I slammed into a large light pole. The insurance of the woman who hit me tried to say it would be established 50/50 responsibility.  Enter my phone call to Vanderginst Law. I was paired with Eric Bodo. Genuine empathy, straightforward, honest advice.He and several of the paraprofessionals worked dillegently to establish necessary facts and information.It took awhile to get the case in motion but they fought for me. Negotiations went back and forth for quite some time but in the end they reached a settlement that was fair and helpful for me. I would not hesitate to reach out to them again for assistance or to recommend them to others. No one would help me! I had to use my own insurance and savings to survive. No workman’s comp. No paid sick days and of course a lot of pain and depression! Eric Bodo and his assistant Sondra from VanDerGinst law pleaded my case for me and continue to fight setting up a trust so I can get disbursements over the duration of waiting time and live. It has been over 3 years and they are still working hard to win for me. My own auto insurance was to cover what remained as it was an underinsured driver and my own automobile insurance was a premium policy covering that issue. My own auto insurance is also making me plead for what is rightfully due and Eric and Sandra again are doing the work.
