Finally spoke with a paralegal Brooke L. Meyers who asked me many questions and seemed genuinely interested in our case. She then asked me for documents which I sent over.\n\nThen I didn't hear from her or anyone for almost 2 weeks!. When I follow up again, she tells me they were updating their systems and that she never received the email, even though I replied directly to her email. No apology!\n\nI resend the documents and she confirms receiving them and would discuss the particulars with attorney Valente.\n\nAgain 2 weeks go by and no communication. So I called today and ask what has happened and that it has been 2 weeks since our last conversation on the 3rd of February. She replies \"only a week I was out sick\". She then speaks over me and never apologizes for the lack of follow up. I understand people get sick, it happens. But apparently it affected her math and professionalism or lack thereof. We strive to make it our first priority to respond to everyone who calls in a timely fashion.  In reality, we turn down many more cases than we accept.  The law in Florida is not kind to those who try and lose.   Judges increasingly reject Plaintiff’s cases they don’t like, even the valid ones.  Appellate courts unfairly take away Plaintiff’s verdicts even when they are valid and fair. There hasn’t been a single pro-consumer law passed by the Florida Legislature in over 35 years. That said, you contacted our office and took several days to upload the medical records you wanted us to review.  The case wasn’t even yours as you were calling on behalf of someone else.  The day we received your uploaded records and reviewed them and what you were seeking, we made the decision that we could not help your friend. We called you and left a message that day.  You waited almost 2 weeks before you called us back.  Even using your timeline which we factually reject, we rejected your friend’s case within 4 weeks.  (It was actually rejected the same day we received and reviewed the records but we just wanted to personally convey our thoughts to you).  We advised on that phone call that we were sorry but did not believe the case you were calling about was one we would be willing to take on.  In fact to this day we never heard anything directly from the person on whose behalf you were calling. <br>If you look at the whole of the reviews we have received, all but 2 (now 3) are completely positive. 2, including this one all share the same thing: we were unwilling/unable to take a case and the person did not like that.  We understand of course.
