I was given specific dates and times when I would receive updates, yet those commitments were not kept.\n\nOn one occasion, my granddaughter rearranged her schedule to be present for a scheduled call, only for us to find out—without any prior notice—that Mr. Welch was in court and unavailable. This lack of communication caused unnecessary inconvenience for both of us.\n\nI understand that court obligations and delays can happen, but as a client, I believe it is a basic professional responsibility to honor your word or at least communicate in advance if plans change. Too often, I was left following up myself to get information that should have been provided proactively.\n\nClear, timely communication is critical in legal matters—especially in something as important as a QDRO—and unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.
