Communication is poor — when you call your case manager, they rarely answer, and voicemails often go unreturned. Calls get routed around multiple times before anyone picks up, and if you want to speak directly to your case manager, you usually have to schedule through the receptionist.\n\nIt’s can be challenging to reach an attorney. Before they’ll connect you, they always ask why you’re calling, which made me feel like a bother rather than a valued client. Several important things that were promised to happen urgently were either delayed or not done at all, and when I asked about the gaps, my questions were ignored or deflected.\n\nEven after a year, communication about settlement progress is unclear. I was told a hearing request would be submitted right away, only to find out a week later it hadn’t been filed yet. I eventually requested a new case manager because follow-through was consistently slow.\n\nMy claim was finally accepted almost a year after opening it, but the process has been exhausting. I’ve had to follow up constantly because updates are rarely provided unless I ask. I’m now out of state disability funds and waiting on a hearing date for temporary benefits, but I’m not allowed to call or assist with the process — even though delays leave me without pay.\n\nAt this point, I’m just hoping and praying nothing else falls through the cracks.
