He is thorough and do extensive research before making professional recommendations!\n\nI was recently rear-ended twice within 6 months. Attorney Mitchell recommended I hire Mr. Andrew Shalna to represent me with the insurance companies .\n\nI Allege:\nMr. Shalna is a very nice young man. It present himself as a \"college kid\" with a law license. He dresses very casual and when I visited Mr. Mitchell (in 4 occasions and around noon time) . Mr. Shalna had not reported to work by then. I question if he is familiar with the concept of first one in, last one out!\n\nI asked attorney Mitchell if Attorney Shalna was more of a pibull attorney or a golden retriever attorney. He stated \"he is a pitbull!\"\nNo, Mr Shalna is NOT a pit-bull attorney but indeed a golden retriever!\n\nHe did not come across as a \"fervent advocate'\" He represents himself as knowledgeable about Bodily Injury Claims. In fact, he has a very superficial knowledge of this subject.\n\nHe business manners are inadequate. He does not return phone calls, emails or texts for several days!\n\nHis administrative skills are also inadequate! I repeatedly requested to see his demand letter he sent on my behalf. I insisted and finally got a copy. It is along-winded  letter poorly written. He refers to me as \"Alain\" and \"she\" and \"her\". He did not want to spend the money to Fedex my checks so instead he spent $1 twice. The checks took ONE MONTH to arrive. To add \"insult to injury\" one of his checks is defective and can not be deposited. Imagine that!\n\nI do not think I got the most out of my claims. Mostly because I perceive that I was pressured to settle with the insurance company because I guess  attorney Shalna had bills to pay. And suing the insurance company would have taken another 6 months to a year and of course a bigger pay out!!!. I had no choice when he says we need to settle. The adjuster says!!! I paid attorney Shalna a lot of money to tell me what the insurance adjuster said!\n\nI you are ever involved in a collision and need an attorney I recommend you hire a famous firm. You will receive a much bigger pay out for your claim.
