When I explained everything to Scott Wesley and showed him documentation and receipts, he immediately agreed to help me. He was incredibly transparent about what to expect, warning me that it could take years to resolve and that even then, I might not ever get the money back from my landlord's LLC. After explaining that if my landlord did this to me, he did it to others and I didn't want anyone else taken advantage of, he got right to work. It did in fact take years of serving my former landlord, court dates, etc. and he has always updated me with the progress. The legal system is slow, so even when I've called simply to check in, he has always been patient with my questions. He is someone who cares deeply about his clients because he sees them as people first.
