Kraft comes in more affordable than a title/escrow office. However, when a company does not do things timely or without being reminded multiple times, they end up costing the client significantly more money when deadlines are delayed. The escrow officer did not have several items completed that would allow us to close on time and stated it was due to her being “out of the office for several days” and not “having her hands in hr file”. Unacceptable. Real estate transactions have deadlines and real people who rely on timeliness so that movers aren’t rescheduled and hotel stays extended due to failure to close. Additionally, we had to provide details 3-4 times on multiple occasions before something would be noted in the file. Seller proceeds were not delivered the following day after close, which is expected. I could go on. The only reason I did not give a 1 star is because the lawyers assistant was professional each time we spoke on the phone. They literally stole thousands of dollars from me, and then sent me a thank you e-mail.
