Real quick to accept my retainer. From time we said we wanted to retain them on friday, they had payment less than 2 hours later. I didn't haggle price or anything. Paid exactly what they wanted. That evening had a couple questions, they answered kinda quickly in regards to my case. Monday comes, they tell me they can't do nothing in my case for over a month out. No problem, keep the retain for until then. Well Tuesday at 6pm comes for an exchange they already knew was becoming and I am having a difficult time getting in touch with this law firm to make sure I do exactly what I need to do. I did have an awesome office manager get in contact with me 45mins later. Gave me the information I needed. Wednesday comes, and I don't remember his names, says I can't call and use my retainer how I please if I am having a difficult situation with my case. So basically they wanted the $2,000 and not do any work while they enjoy it. I spent almost 11 months and paid $5,500 with absolutely no progress on my case. One case was closed by the court due to lack of follow-up and no response, which I was shocked to find out later. The second case was opened in September, and I wasn’t even informed. When a publication request was rejected, instead of providing the additional information the court needed, nothing was done and I was never updated.\n\nWhen I finally questioned the situation, the response was unprofessional and disrespectful. I felt there was no transparency, no accountability, and no proper handling of my case. Despite this, I continued receiving monthly invoices without seeing any actual work or results.\n\nBased on my personal experience, I would not recommend this attorney.
