I had no idea that JD Halliburton Pryor practiced personal injury law, and was relieved when she offered to evaluate my case, prior to possibly representing me.\n\nLong story short, she took the case, and the rest is history. I supplied information as she and her staff required, and they did the rest. I have never felt so secure that I would be medically cared for, and properly paid for the injury I sustained. JD Halliburton Pryor is an experienced adjudicator, who has experience working both sides of the insurance business. This led to an extreme disconnect in actually getting help from her and our consultation was mainly her talking about the types of discrimination and how she needed the \"timeline\", that we provided but her intake failed to give to her, but didn't have time to review it. She asked questions that if her intake person gave it to her, she would have already had them answered. When telling her this she just gave the option to talk to her the next day so that she can review all the info we did send over. She also talked about how she was so busy and only looked at our stuff for 30mins prior to the call when we were told she'd review it at least 48hours beforehand. She never called the next day, just received an email stating she was busy and couldn't speak to us before our deadline and to either request an extension or find help elsewhere. We feel as though she basically stole our money and didn't give us any answers to anything we asked. Her office is very disorganized, maybe due to her being \"near capacity\", but this was very unprofessional and disheartening to know we paid $350 for an hour, to be done in 45mins, and told that since she didn't have the information, that we definitely provided, and that we need to go elsewhere. It is unfortunate that your review is not an accurate description of our office or of our interactions with you. <br><br>As we informed you when scheduling your paid consultation, the $350.00 fee is for one hour of my time, which includes 30 minutes of document review and a 30-minute consultation.  The 30-minute consultation is used to discuss strengths and weaknesses about your case under the applicable law.  <br><br>In your case, you paid $350.00 for you and your spouse. Our intake specialist provided me with all of your information, including a lengthy audio recording and several documents.  Our intake specialist made a simple mistake by not including a timeline you sent in the body of an email.  I apologized that the timeline was not provided to me, but I promised to review the timeline at no charge and said I would call with additional questions, if any.  Even without the timeline, I was still able to review all of your documents in advance of the consultation, except for the audio, and we were still able to have a productive consultation. <br><br>  In fact, as mentioned in your review, we went over the allotted 30 minutes and spent 45 minutes discussing your cases and how the law applies to your facts.  I mentioned it was nearly impossible to review and analyze two cases in 60 minutes, and we all agreed that a second consultation would be necessary.  <br><br>The consultation was held on a Wednesday, and you informed me that the deadline for you and your husband’s responses to the severance offer was Monday, only three days later.  At the end of the consultation, we all agreed it would be best for you to seek an extension of time from your former employer so you could seek legal representation.  As I mentioned then, employers normally allow an extension while you seek legal advice.  I confirmed that I would review your timeline at no charge, and that I would be in touch the following day. Everyone was happy at the end of the consultation, and you and your husband thanked me for the extra time I spent providing my analyses of your cases.<br><br>  I then spent another hour (at no charge) reviewing and analyzing your timeline and other lengthy documents you sent for my review.  I was unable to call due to deadlines and calls for my current cases, so I emailed you instead.  I confirmed that we would need to set up another meeting so I could address both cases, go over additional questions, and discuss whether we could assist you and your husband on a contingency fee basis.  In recognizing your deadline and my current caseload, I again recommended that you seek an extension of time from your employer.  Alternatively, I recommended that you seek advice from another lawyer if you did not wish to wait because my current caseload would not permit another meeting with you all before the deadline.  I provided a good source for you to search for another lawyer if you and your partner decided to go that route, and I asked how you wished to proceed.   <br><br>Unfortunately, you were not pleased with my response.  You sent us an email expressing your disappointment that we were unable to speak that day and that we were not able to let you know if we were able to take on your case that day.  You asked us to step in right away and send a letter to your employer.  I recommended that you seek other counsel because we were unable to jump in on your case right away.  You asked that we reconsider taking on your case, but in light of your response and apparent unrealistic expectations, I mentioned it would be best for you to seek other counsel. <br><br>We did not hear back from you and instead we saw this review.  It is unfortunate that you have made these false claims simply because we would not accept your case.
