Last year, when I called to speak with an attorney, I was quickly connected to Eliot Houman. I immediately let him know that I thought his firm might not be able to help me but asked if he would take a few minutes. He said he would be glad to listen and patiently did so. More than half an hour later, he explained why my case was not for his firm, but he gave me astute advice. Clearly, I was impressed with the time he had taken at no charge and with his kind, considerate approach. Subsequently, he took more time, again at no charge, to respond to a number of emails I sent. Each time, he answered quickly and helpfully. At the time of our conversation, I did not realize that Eliot is one of the firm’s co-founders.
