This firm assured me that there was nothing to do for my case since I had not been served. The opposing attorney had no clue who was representing me and I was able to get the case dismissed without any help from Straus Meyers. My supposed attorney dropped the ball hard claiming over a year later that he had been checking up on the court notes for my case once I asked for the retainer back and they wanted to keep as much as they could. Had he ever checked in on my case they would have known that a claim was made that they had served me through my other attorney. I’m lucky that my case was not settled without any representation because they sat on their hands while the process was moving.
