Despite knowing this, they drafted documents that ultimately did not protect me — and never warned us that such a devastating failure was even possible.\n\nWhen I sought answers and help after the fact, I was met with delayed responses, hollow apologies, and empty referrals to other attorneys who “might” help — with no real effort to correct the damage they caused. Their handling of this situation showed a complete lack of care, accountability, and professionalism.\n\nHiring an attorney is an act of trust. Stokes Lawrence broke that trust completely. They were negligent when drafting critical documents, negligent in advising us, and negligent in standing behind their work when problems emerged.
