During the course of ownership, my family and I saw water coming into my bedroom, my daughter’s bedroom and basically every entry point of the house where there is a roof (four places in my home). As a fighter pilot, I was willing and able to handle the issues with the GCC.  I quickly realized that he was not going to be helpful with resolving the major defects.  At this point I was ready to go to war against the contractor I hired to build this beautiful custom home which I worked so hard for.  I hired Kathryn for construction litigation and at some point in the case, we were in arbitration, circuit court and appellate court at the exact same time.  She is very smart and impeccably organized.  She truly outwitted and and out classed the opposing council.  They new they didn't have a case so they kept throwing curve balls at her and she caught them all and fired back appropriately.  There was always something happening. I went to a hearing with Kathryn and it was obvious we were going to go the distance if it came down to it. It was a drag out fight and we came out ahead. It was a tough battle and we aggressively pursued until the end when I got reimbursed for my losses.   I appreciate all of the hard work and the preparation it took to get us to a win.
