Your engagement was solely as a 3rd party seeking representation for an acquaintance.<br>Upon entering the case, the acquaintance was facing multiple felonies.  For a variety of reasons he was ineligible for bond and had to remain in jail.<br>The situation escalated when he incurred new charges will incarcerated, including violating a No-Contact Order (in which you were implicated), leading to the revocation of his existing bond. He subsequently acquired another felony for continued contact with the alleged victim.<br>Your claim of inadequate communication is a direct consequence of Attorney-Client Privilege. I am ethically bound to restrict discussions with non-clients. Furthermore, you ceased payment, having paid less than one-third (1/3) of the contract fee, effectively demanding services pro bono. Despite this, the work performed significantly exceeded the compensation received.<br>My client understood and accepted the need for our Firm’s withdrawal.
