This time not so great, had to follow up on everything and didn't get a warm fussy  feeling when I called in to see what was going on. The resptionist was not very helpful and acted like she was doing me a favor by answering the phone and helping me. Always answered \"Lawyer's office\" never which lawyers office unless I got the answering system. When the insurance company settled the bodily injury, i wasn't told the correct  information about the time I missed from work and it wasn't turned into the insurance company so it wasn't part of the settlement. When I received a check  from the insurance company for the car rental I had to follow up to make sure it was ok to cash. At that time I asked about the settlement check and was told that a check was cut and that it would be mailed. I waited almost a month, 3 weeks  for the settlement check and never received it. When I texted them about it I was told it was lost in the mail. I ended up going there to pickup a reissued check. Again  the receptionist was off putting and not very personable. No greeting when I entered the the office, I walked up waited a beat and still nothing from the receptionist I said I'm here to pickup a check.  Her reply your ID, not oh how are you so and so or sure let me get that for you, just your ID. Again not warm and fussy or welcoming.  She took my id and the check off to somewhere else to I assume to copy it them. She came back handed them to me. I asked her where the original check had been sent she gave my address,  I said that's odd I never received it. Ethically, I cannot speak to the particular facts of his case in a public forum; however, I will say that Attorneys nor Law Firms can guarantee the outcome of any case.   Unfortunately, the media, online marketing, national law firms with huge budgets, billboard attorneys and the like perpetuate the idea that any accident cases is worth huge amounts of money to get their phones to ring.  But try speaking to the actual attorney you see on TV, the Billboard or hear on the radio.   <br>In the real world if a client decides to settle his case the outcome is based on the last best and final offer from the insurance company.  If the case goes to trial the outcome is based on a Jury verdict after trial.   An experienced attorney must assess the damages involved in each individual case.  Some cases worth going to trial, in other cases the costs associated with the trail outweigh the potential recovery.   Without disclosing more than you have already said in this public forum \"three months of chiropractic\" typically would not justify the cost of taking a case to trial if the case can be settled.
