Over the course of several years, my case was handled without me ever having the opportunity to speak directly with an attorney only staff.\n\nWhen I called to advocate for myself and raise concerns, I was informed by a staff member that my case had been withdrawn due to alleged rudeness. At no point was I disrespectful. Clients have the right to ask questions and express concerns when they do not understand what is happening with their case.\n\nWhat is most troubling is that the attorney representing me for years contacted me for the first time only after withdrawing from my case. During that conversation, when I attempted to express myself and ask for clarification, he made inappropriate comments about my age, implying that it was relevant. My age has absolutely nothing to do with this matter and bringing it up was unprofessional and insulting.\n\nIt is unacceptable for an attorney to argue with a client for seeking clarification, especially after years of representation, and then expect payment.
