On multiple occasions, I was not made aware of important details until the day before court.\n\nDuring one phone call, Mr. Vanderwerf repeatedly cut me off when I tried to ask questions, which made it difficult to understand what was happening. My boyfriend was present to help me follow the conversation, but when Mr. Vanderwerf realized this, he became upset and abruptly hung up the night before court without explaining what to expect the following day.\n\nI found the lack of respect and willingness to advocate for me extremely frustrating.
