We are happy to answer any questions from our clients. Unfortunately, some people have a habit of being very rude or abusive to staff, raising their voice, using an accusatory or preachy tone, or being belligerent.   We can't tolerate such behavior.  Instead of calling us in an irate mood, please calm down to speak to staff civilly or ask to speak to one of our attorneys.  It happens often that clients speak to random employees of their local SSA office and get misinformation and blame aimed in their attorney's direction.  The information received from SSA in these circumstances is almost always wrong or incomplete.  Your attorney is almost never responsible for delaying the processing of your claim.  Right now there is a backlog in the SSA's processing time due to a massive staffing shortage that occurred during Covid.  This has caused SSA's processing of cases in Texas to be delayed significantly.  We explain this delay to everyone we sign.  It is very frustrating for the claimants and us as well, but it is not something we can control. So, please be polite to staff when you call.
