He made a very crass comment that he was “sure she did something to deserve it” when I told him of a man attempting to murder a woman (a relative to me). And on top of that when I told him “don’t say that”; he kept on trying to justify why he would make a comment like that to me, a close relative of the victim. I got up to leave & told him he owed me an apology at which time he flatly refused. Honestly it’s difficult for me to imagine how cold, heartless & lack of compassion one has to be to say something so hurtful then refuse to apologize.
