It was also a Worker’s Compensation case as I was a passenger in a company car. To complicate it further I’m a Medicare recipient which has special requirements for settlement of the WComp case which attached itself to my personal injury case. Quite a complex mess!\n\nOn a side note, I’d like to state that CA WComp is a nightmare I wish on no one! I was severely injured, airlifted to a trauma center, and it’s been a living hell trying to get treatment.
