A vague email saying they won’t take my case, no explanation, no questions, just a refund — which I had to chase multiple times. Their $2,100 upfront retainer made no sense for a straightforward settlement case, and my suggested alternatives were ignored.\nThey even referred me to a retiring attorney not taking clients and never followed up. Honestly, they only want easy, cookie-cutter cases. Any case that takes actual review or flexibility? Forget it.\nYou’ll get your refund if they refuse your case — but don’t expect professionalism, integrity, or initiative. Lazy. Dismissive. Polished on the outside, careless underneath.\nAlso at-will termination doesn't protect employers from defamation and retaliation(you can sue for defamation and retaliation!) you may have experienced like I have.
