In CA you must have an attorney represent you - the entire issue is addressed as a TRIAL or a proceeding with a JUDGE; there is simply no possible way to represent yourself and not get buried alive by the employers work-comp attorneys.  My case was relatively small and insignificant - and NABI LAW still took the case.  They were simply excellent, from start to finish.  I would say that NABI LAW exceeded my expectations and the expectations of any experienced California employee - by 1000% if not more.  Your mileage may vary; the attorneys at NABI LAW were tough on me, made me answer tough questions from their end - but they have to.
