I really do appreciate it.   The unfortunate thing is that even when there is what one would consider clear liability on the part of a casino, they deny your claim.  They then defend and delay the case as long as they can.  They search every medical record in your past and attack you trying to make you feel as if you did something wrong because you got hurt due to their negligence. Their goal is to beat you into submission and increase their profits despite the human costs to the injured person.  It is truly a \"profits over people\" mentality, and they have hordes of lawyers who are more than willing to do their dirty work for them. We can be proud that when the casino wrongfully denied your claim, we did not cave in, but stood toe to toe with the casino.  But, as you know, that was only half of the story.  Once we obtained a settlement from the casino, the health insurance company made a claim that it was entitled to most of the settle money!  So that started a second battle that we had to fight.
