The communication was strange; they would tell me one thing at first, and then change their minds throughout the case. I didn't feel they made any extra effort; the case was full of reprocessing and emails with endless deadlines. I was hit because the driver ran a red light. They had everything in their favor, but they still seemed more like the lawyers for the driver who hit me and the other insurance company than for me. The conversation turned hostile when I started questioning them. They charged me 33% with a check that they had previously told me they wouldn't (a check they had issued in October and had on hand). When I asked if they were going to wait until the end of the year to finish my case so they could collect the remaining 40%, they finished it in a week but charged me a fee to expedite the process. Their response was, \"It's in the contract.\" And they're right, so take some time to read the contract and see if it's worth it.
