In my experience:  He is suspicious of his clients and assumes the worst of them. He will spend his time asking YOU to come up with your reasoning to support your case in custody issues, rather than help you prepare a case.  He will run like a bunny if the opposing council becomes too aggressive, such as in requesting a (writ of) mandamus. He will make recommendations and set you up with other council to arbitrate, but that council will beat you down verbally to discourage you. There will be grandstanding to show you what a \"great\" and \"caring\" person he is, but sadly, he is just one of the \"good old boys and girls\" network of attorneys and judges in San Antonio, TX. If you think this network does not exist, and you do not understand that they make most of their arrangements and decisions between each other, prior to any court event, your are sadly naive and therefore more vulnerable within this system.This attorney will work against you, not for you.  He will not explain what he is doing. He will not teach you about what would be helpful for you to do in your case. Hopefully this attorney experiences the same representation he provided to me, either for himself or his family.
