At the time, she was heavily medicated and did not have  the mental capacity to make decisions so i became her Caregiver in which all medical and legal concerns were redirected to me-in which they were aware of because they contacted me aftr the facts. Long story short, my Mom was approved for disability days BEFORE this law firm even stepped in! However, they still insisted on taking a percent of the backpay she was approved for. I think its sad that people think its ok to take advantage of other people suffering. Knowing this would be my Moms only source of income in which she need medical supplies, medication, etc-they still just wanted to get paid even though they did NOTHING to assist her! When she called to speak to them about this, they belittled and pstronized her as if she was an incompetent child and hung up when i took the phone.
