I was discriminated and terminated from a for profit nursing program when I was two weeks from graduation and passing my courses with As and Bs. All because the director of nurses had something against me. As a mother of 6 children, I went door to door and phone to phone calling attorneys across the valley to explain how I was wronged. Nobody thought I had a case and Mr Ortiz saw the injustice and fought for me. After a year long battle and arbitration suit I won against that school. It was such a relief to not be in debt $13,000 to a school where I was denied my rights to graduate as a vocational nurse.
