When called on it, she was aggressive and failed to take accountability even after acknowledging to my brother and I she was busy handling trial matters. Awful bedside manners and rude. We fired Patricia Boyse and had to immediately hire a new attorney, incurring substantial legal fees for the new attorney to come up to speed before the scheduled mediation. I called her asking for help and consultation as a tenant and she literally told me to \"stop talking\" as I was explaining my situation to her and that \"no one will believe a male victim\".\n\nShe was really condescending and patronizing, and did not actually answer any of the questions I came to her for. Do not call and waste your money. Fortunately I did not have to pay out of pocket for this but if I did you best believe I would be calling to charge back. I wish I could get the 10 minutes of my life back.\n\nSome quotes from our conversation:\n- \"Well you can read the code just as I can and it says *proceeds to read code verbatim even though I asked her to interpret and explain legal jargon* \"\n- \"I can't predict the future; there's no crystal ball\" (did not ask her to \"predict the future\"; only asked her to interpret whether the civil code is a strong enough protection for me to pursue my landlord for damages, etc.\n- \"Well I do believe you but... you know have you tried talking to him (the landlord)?\" --- Implying I haven't already gone through that effort.\n\nSMH, truly a disappointment. A true \"Karen\" lawyer if you will. If I could give negative stars I would.
