Took 16 months, gave us inaccurate information concerning final interview with SSI, told us was phone call, but when we called SSI were informed was an in in person interview, if we had not called we would still be waiting for a phone call. Now that she received benefits, with 16 months of backpay totaling $10,300.00, they are taking $7,200.00, leaving my friend with $3,100.00 for 16 months. In my opinion that is usery. Recommend anybody filing for SSI disability apply on your own, and if you hire an attorney, do not hire Kirkendall Dwyer.
