I contacted him about an employment issue involving not only myself, but over 100 former co-workers who were laid off after working for months for IOUs and promised promotions and bonuses at a now defunct company. I called Ken as I was told he was particularly strong in contracts and insurance law. He took a case that many said would result in being paid 5-10 cents on the dollar, if anything, assembled an incredible team, went through two mediations, and within two years secured us a sizable portion of our claim. As lead plaintiff, I was at the mediations and involved in many of the filings and communications with the class. My observation on why our outcome was so good was that Ken knew the insurance policies and the law better than the attorneys representing the underwriters, and Ken and his team knew employment law better than the other side, particularly as it pertained to Utah. Ken is focused, hardworking, diligent, honest, and intelligent. He will always be my first call for legal issues.
