The following day, I received an unexpected phone call from a woman who claimed to be “his assistant.” The call lasted only about two minutes, during which she frequently hesitated and appeared unsure, which raised concerns—especially given the level of confidence one would expect in legal matters. I asked if she could email me additional details, at which point the call was abruptly disconnected (she hung up one me quickly). There was no follow-up call.\n\nI then emailed the company to confirm whether the call was legitimate, as the interaction was unusual. They responded by stating they were unable to assist and only work with businesses. Notably, there was no acknowledgment or apology regarding the disconnected call.
