If you click 22 reviews next to Local Guide, you cannot see any reviews which is highly suspect. This is the 3rd time since last July that PH's review was changed after I responded. I am thinking he revises it so the one star moves closer to the top, which would benefit someone he may work for who handles social security disability cases. We have received calls, right after a one star review, from companies trying to hire us for SEO services to rank us higher. One had foreign names listed on the company site. If PH is a real person, why doesn't PH share a name?
The first comment that was changed read: \"denied 2 or 3 days\" which did not make sense as no one is denied that quickly. I have pasted his original comment below that was changed. Then, the second comment was changed to 2-3 times; now it has been changed to denied \"3 times.\" The third time it was revised with the comment: \"And I assure you that I am a real person....that incompetent law firm\" was added. If you are a real person, PH, provide your name so that your concerns can be addressed.
Below is what I wrote last July when PH posted before it was changed two other times. Our social security disability clients don't get denied in 2 to 3 days. (I added this the 2nd time PH revised his comment: Also, most people know if they have been denied 2 or 3 times. This person was not definite.\"
The Law Office of Kathleen M Flynn, LLC, unlike most attorneys, files applications for new clients. Our disability law firm also keeps appealing unlike most attorneys. The approval rates are low in Georgia at the initial and reconsideration levels (30 some percent at the initial level and @12 percent at the reconsideration level) and the hearing level Administrative Law Judges grant on average 30-40 percent. Our disability law firm takes on challenging cases including the severely mental ill, the homeless who may be difficult to find while working on the case, and children's cases that other firms will not take. Neither Mr. Taylor nor our office were mailed an appointment notice for a physical CE appointment with a DAS contracted physician that was scheduled today.
I talked to management at Disability Adjudication Services, and she mentioned the challenges with the mail/mail room. The manager said that if the CE appointment notice is not mailed out 15 days in advance, as Mr. Taylor's was not (per the ERE it was mailed out 9 days ago), DAS will call the client which is what happened here. The receptionist was calling Mr. Taylor this week about a mental CE, when he got angry that we had not told him about the physical CE. My assistant looked in the electronic file ie ERE last Friday and told Mr. Taylor about the physical CE appointment, but he did not recall this or misunderstood due to his TBI. I had Mr. Taylor in my office yesterday going over the CE exams, calling the Adjudicator to request a zoom for a mental CE exam scheduled in Suwannee and going over his file.
Today, I called Mr. Taylor to see how the physical CE went, but he was unable to get out of bed due to pain. I conferenced him in to the Adjudicator, and he left a message as to why he missed the physical CE exam. I told him that DAS may deny him for missing an exam as they have done that in the past to clients who missed exams. Myself and another assistant spent 30 minutes on the phone as he related frustrations about how his record should be enough to win. He said we won't listen to him, but have other calls. One day, 3 of us spent @ 2 hours talking with him. We have to help other clients.
We submitted @ 27 pieces of evidence for his case. Two of Mr. Taylor's providers never sent us records, in response to our requests, so we reached out to them again and notified the Adjudicator. I tell everyone that anyone under age 50 is a more challenging case that some attorneys won't take. The best way to prevail is with mental limitations, hand limitations or difficulty concentrating due to pain/mental issues.
By the way, I return calls but was never told to call Mr. Taylor. Two attorneys have spoken to Mr. Taylor including myself in the past. Due to his irate interaction with her, the receptionist did not know how to handle him.
