Said he'd help, but has done the bare minimum. We've had multiple court dates that keep getting put off. He's too busy to help his client. Communication is very poor. He rarely speaks to his client who is stuck waiting in jail. He rarely responds to the family who are looking for answers. Public defense shouldn't be so hard for those without money. It's a real shame that money speaks louder than justice these days.  I'm sure if we had money, we'd hear back.\n\nMade a plea deal. Been waiting weeks to get it signed by my brother in jail. Alamilla said Purgatory isn't working with him. We asked for a copy of the plea deal. We, my brothers family, got it signed and returned within 24 hours. This has been frustrating for our whole family. I can't imagine the frustration for those incarcerated. My brother has been so restless. It will just be nice to get this done. Could we have gotten a better deal? Perhaps.
