That position is contrary to Florida law and to your obligations as trustee.\nUnder Florida Statute § 736.05053, funeral and burial expenses are properly payable by the trustee from trust assets. As the acting trustee of the Pamela Stone Irrevocable Trust, you have both the legal authority and the fiduciary duty to review and pay valid funeral expenses directly from the trust without requiring probate proceedings.\nWe are in possession of the paid funeral invoice, proof of cremation, and all supporting documentation. These materials will be sent to you via Federal Express overnight delivery. The cost of delivery constitutes an administrative expense of the trust and is payable from trust assets.\nPlease provide written confirmation of receipt of these documents and remit reimbursement no later than ten (10) business days from the date of your receipt.
