Apparently, Ms Haskins was not aware Medicaid allows the transfer of financial assets (money in bank accounts) in addition to a primary residence from the parent to an adult disabled child. Aware or not, she absolutely failed to inform me of the legal asset transfers readily available. She mentioned only the primary residence transfer. In my opinion, Ms Haskins failed to provide competent legal advice in a practice area she advertised as one of her specialties.
