I cannot speak to your wife's case, but I can tell you that the evaluation that was provided at the time was correct.  I have had many cases in which new court decisions impact past evaluations and cases in which other honest attorneys have said no, I have said yes.  There are many cases in which clients come in and had they sought legal advice earlier, their cases would have been resolved.  When it comes to immigration law, evaluations are valid only for the day they are given.  The next day, a court can issue a new decision that makes yesterday's evaluation obsolete.  Yes, don't ever give up.  Always, seek legal advice as things may change tomorrow.
