However, in February of 2024 a friend of mine died and I was the executor for her estate.  I was a little concerned about my tackling such a project at my advanced age of 82 at that time.  But here we are at the end of the road in October of 2025 (age 83) and I must say that it was an enlightening experience.\n\nMr. Lyles's first question to me at our initial consultation was to ask how much of the process did I want to handle.  My response was as much as I possibly could.  And, true to his word, Mr. Lyles allowed this rookie to do what I could, which actually turned our to be quite a lot.  Of course, I peppered him with a million questions and he never failed to be there for me when I needed him most.  For instance, late one Friday he noticed an email that I had posted, which had a deadline attached to it.  That deadline would occur during the weekend and outside of business hours.
