At first, she seemed fine when we spoke and signed the contract. I gave her my deposit and all the documents she requested. I was on top of everything. She scheduled another appointment with me, but five minutes before, she canceled it. They told me they would call me back, but they never did. I kept calling them, both the secretary and Caroline herself, and they kept saying they would call me back. Finally, I told them I was going to cancel and get my deposit back. The lawyer contacted me three weeks later, knowing nothing about my case, as if I were a new client. She asked for documents she had never requested before and was annoyed because I told her they hadn't asked for them. In a call I had with her, everything exploded. She said she was sick and dealing with personal issues, which angered me. I told her I also have a business and don't involve my personal problems with business. Caroline got angry and said she was going to drop my case and that I should find another lawyer. Three months wasted!
