I was well within my rights to do so as my ex made over 3 times as much money as me.\n\nLucy advised me to ask a for a number that I assumed would cover my fees and leave me with some room. However, when I got the bill for my fees what she advised me to ask for didn’t even cover her fees. She was ultimately super unempathetic, unapologetic, and unprofessional in her follow up call to me. Her only priority was putting all the blame on me- when I sought out professional help because I knew I didn’t have all the answers.\n\nOn top of this my simple case took forever to complete. I wasn’t aware my attorney was going on maternity leave until she went on leave. Communication was more than lacking.
