His communication was almost non existent,  he  never made much of an effort to get to the DA to negotiate and was awful with responding every time I contacted him. He was 10 min late to court for one appearance and never once tried to negotiate charges down for me. I ended up with the exact consequences as if I'd done this myself. The final court appearance he finally pleaded with the judge. All too late.
