I bonded out on my own and requested a refund on January 1st.\n\nIt took almost two months for them to issue a partial refund, with no itemized invoice explaining the deductions. Over the phone, they claimed $675 was deducted for two hours of attorney work and court fees—but I have never received proof of the work or an invoice, and my contract didn’t even specify their rates.\n\nThis feels like a scam—making up work that wasn’t done and hiding charges. I will be reporting them to the bar.
