Her tone of voice was really nasty and she gave me the impression that she did not care to assist me. She told me that she needed to speak to the client of the case directly. So, I asked if the client was to give verbal consent for me to speak on his behalf would it be ok, and she replied in a nasty tone “why can’t he speak for himself?” I explained the reason and I stated more than once that the client was with me at the moment. After giving my explanation, she replies again with a nasty tone “ he has to call.” Instead of just asking if I can put the client on the phone, she opted to rudely reply “ he has to call. “ This only led me to believe that she didn’t even care to assist at all because she simply could have asked me to put him on the phone. I told her he was with me more than once. Why even bother with a business whose first point of contact puts a bad taste in the mouths of potential clients.
