As for the documents, it is firm policy and best legal practice to get copies of any and all documents a client receives regarding his/her case to assure no stone is left unturned when it comes down to settlement or trial – every client is asked to provide copies of such things to their attorney.  As for the delay in receiving your check, it is noted in the file that you were advised by email that your check was ready to pick up.   When you called a week later, you were informed about the email and you asked that the check be mailed.  Upon review of the checks issued to you, we see that the name on your checks match exactly the spelling of your name on your driver’s license.  However, I do see that the address on your check was missing a single digit, which is indeed our clerical error.
