Initially I did not hire Fasig Brooks, instead going directly through my insurance company because I carried uninsured motorist coverage. My own insurance company offered me an amount that was less than one tenth of what my medical treatment ultimately cost, despite me carrying a policy that was more than sufficient to cover all care. They were calling me 3 times a day heavily pressuring me to accept their tiny offer and sign a form to absolve them of any additional obligation. My insurance company was solely motivated to pay as little as possible, without any regard to my health.\n\nBecause of this, I hired Fasig Brooks. Without the hard work of the team at Fasig Brooks, I would have been stuck paying my five-figure medical bills out of pocket despite carrying insurance coverage for the exact situation that occurred. They are the protectors of normal people against the greed of the insurance companies, whose primary goal is to raise premiums and deny coverage.
