I sat in a case Scott was working on where a family was deciding custody for an Autistic child. The child claimed abuse from a step parent and did his best to communicate it to trusted adults despite being Autistic. I watched Scott Weight use the child's Autism against him in court claiming he was just anxious and probably made it up despite clear evidence of therapy the child had gone through and a restraining order that stated abuse had taken place. Scott made the focus of the case to disprove the child's claims and not focus on his safety during custody. Completely unethical to watch from any attorney but especially in the case of a young child on the Spectrum. Devastating to see him fight in court to disprove the child's experience instead of focus on the child's safety when figuring out custody.
