However, he told me, my mom, and my sister that he did not see the judge giving her a harsh sentence. Unfortunately, she ended up receiving a much more severe sentence than expected (4–10 years for one count and 8–20 years for the second). The agreement he recommended allowed the judge to decide the sentence without the option to appeal. He also mentioned that if she were his daughter or sister, he would have advised her to take the deal. We paid $25,000 for his services.
