While Diana’s knowledge and interpretation of the agreement was sound, there are two areas that were less than satisfactory.\n\n1. I also hired Diana to write a counter offer to the severance. The letter read a bit strong to me but I trusted her judgment. I later received feedback that the counter letter was so overly aggressive in tone that the employer closed the door on any opportunity for a counter.\n\n2. After we had concluded our business, I received an unsolicited email from Diana just checking in and seeing how things resolved. The situation with my employer was a rough one so I thought she was sending a decent email to see how it wrapped up. So i respond to fill her in. We wound up having a couple of exchanges that in no way aided me at the time.
